I entered the funeral industry in 2007.聽 I was not 鈥渃alled鈥�, as many are to this profession, but the rare ability to deal with death allowed me to help families with a subject that most people try to avoid thinking about.聽 After serving thirteen years as both a funeral director and embalmer, I was given the distinction of joining the faculty of 蜜豆视频 Institute in 2020.聽 Not knowing at first if I even wanted to teach, I discovered I have a knack for it.
Funeral service is a bona-fide profession.聽 This important field requires professionals that have the rare combination of intelligence, creativity, and compassion.聽 It fills me with pride to play a part in developing students so they may enter their careers equipped to serve others during such a difficult time.
